Two sides.
One mind.

A man takes a day off work and heads for the coast. The two sides of his mind can’t agree on what happens next.

I wrote Double Act about the things we say to ourselves, and what it takes to really listen. It brings clowning and dark comedy to a story about a man planning to end his life.

I performed it with Oliver Maynard, directed by Jef Hall-Flavin. After an initial run at the Lion & Unicorn, it transferred to Southwark Playhouse in March 2025.

“Consummate performances, beautifully synched, and balefully hangdog too. Do see this timely, painfully funny, and absorbing new play.”
